Principal's Message

November 26, 2024

Dear PHS Families,

Thank you to all our families who attended Parent/Teacher Conferences last week. We had a wonderful turnout and appreciated your attendance as we strengthen our home-school partnerships in your child’s learning. Assessment is ongoing so we encourage you to continue reaching out to your child’s teacher should you have any questions or concerns around learning. Our next formal assessment time will be the first reporting period at the end of January.

Thanks, also, to our amazing volunteers who helped out with our Scholastic Book Fair and Bottle Drive. Students were very excited about the Book Fair as they chose new books and were introduced to different authors and genres through our morning book talks. Staff are very grateful for the dinner that parent volunteers provided. Thank you for looking after us.

We want to remind you about two community service partnerships at PHS. The first is our Holiday Hope Tote with the Alex Centre and the second is our Mayor’s Food Drive. Please see below for a description of what to place in the Hope Tote. Once complete bring in the tote and to add to our collection.

Sincerely,

Ms. Paull and Ms. Muir
