Panorama Hills School News:

‘The Weekly Howl’

March 13, 2026

This has been another busy week at Panorama Hills School with lots of meaningful learning taking place.  Our grade ones did an amazing job leading our assembly this week.  They shared information that they have been learning about communities and led the school in singing a beautiful song about belonging.

This week was also my first week at Panorama Hills as the Acting Principal.  My name is Ms. Kim Manser.  I am a retired principal who will be covering for Mr. Jeffrey until his return.  I want to thank this school community for being so welcoming.  It is a lovely school with amazing staff, students, and parents. It is a great place to be! Please feel free to reach out to me at the school if you have any questions or concerns.

Student Led Conferences
Teachers and students having been busy preparing to welcome parents into the school for Student Led Conferences, where students are excited to share examples of their learning.  Student Led Conferences are on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20. Conference booking is now open and can be booked using your MyCBE account.

March 19 Grade 1-5   4:00 – 8:00 for students in Gr 1-5 and Kindergarten  8:00 – 8:00

School Council
Thank you so much to those of you who were able to make it to our school council meeting this week.  The school had the opportunity to share information and gather feedback about our School Development Plan, Budget and School fees.  We appreciate parents taking the time to share feedback that will help with our future planning.  Thank you also to our school council and school society for your continued support.  You help to make our school community a better place, and it is greatly appreciated.

Spring Break
There is no school for kindergarten students on Thursday, March 19 and for all students on Friday, March 20 due to Conferences.  Spring break begins following this – so no school for students from March 20 – March 29.  School resumes on Monday, March 30.

We hope you all have a wonderful spring break!
