Sports Day

We had a fantastic Sports Day, and we’re so glad the weather held up for all the outdoor fun! Students showed great spirit and teamwork throughout the event. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped run stations and support classes, your time and energy made the event a success! Events like this truly bring our school community together and create lasting memories for everyone involved.

Digging Into Science at the Learning Garden!

PHS students have been enthusiastically working on the learning garden this week. The grade 3s have put some hardy perennial plants into the planters by the main office, and each grade team has been filling the learning garden with edible plants, pollinator plants, local plants, and Indigenous plants. Students are excited to see this progress and have been connecting this work to each grade team's Living Systems Science curriculum!

Field Trip & Activity Fees – Reminder

Thank you for your continued support. This year, students have enjoyed many valuable field trips and in-school experiences that extend their learning.

School Council generously covers a large portion of these costs, but we rely on families to pay the remaining fees posted in your MyCBE account.

If you haven’t already done so, please log in and take care of any outstanding fees. Your support helps us continue offering these enriching opportunities for all students.

Last Week of School

As we head into the last week of school next week, there's a mix of excitement and reflection in the air. Students are wrapping up their learning, enjoying special activities, and celebrating their accomplishments from the year. It's been a wonderful journey, and we’re so proud of the growth we’ve seen in every student. Thank you to all families for your continued support. We look forward to ending the year on a positive and joyful note! Last day of School is Thursday, June 26th. Early dismissal at 12:20.

Grade 5 Farewell

The time has come to bid farewell to our wonderful Grade 5 students! Our farewell celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 24th. Doors will open at 1:30 pm, and the celebration will begin promptly at 1:45 pm. Following the farewell, parents and Grade 5 students are invited to attend a reception generously hosted by our School Council.

EES Orientation

We were pleased to welcome families to our EES Orientation this Friday. It was a great opportunity to share information about the program, tour the classroom, and meet the staff who will be supporting students. Families had a chance to ask questions and learn more about how we’ll work together to support their child’s growth and success. We’re excited to begin this journey with our new students in the fall!
