🐾 Principal’s Message
It’s hard to believe we’re only five days away from winter break. Thank you for making sure your children are dressed for the weather. With temperatures dipping below minus twenty this week, your support really helped. A quick reminder that even on very cold days, CBE policy is that schools remain open and the learning continues.
We had our first Blue Days over the past two days. On these very cold mornings, we opened our school doors at 7:55 a.m. so students could come inside right away through any open entrance. Thank you for helping your children arrive on time and safely during the cold weather.
We also want to thank our families, AHS, and CBE Facilities for their support during our recent respiratory illness outbreak at Panorama Hills School. Facilities were here the first evening and completed a full deep cleaning and sanitization of the building. Families have been keeping children home when they’re sick, which has made a noticeable difference. We appreciate your care and cooperation.
Thank you as well for supporting School Council’s new fundraising adventure with Cookie Dough. It was a great success. A big thank you to the volunteers and to everyone who purchased. Your support helps us create more opportunities for our students!
This was our third and final week of our dance residency. We are grateful to Allara for her guidance and motivation, to School Council for funding this opportunity, and of course to our amazing students. They jumped in with energy and confidence and, in less than a week, were able to share their skills, their movement, and their new appreciation for dance.
Wishing everyone a calm and healthy stretch leading into the break.
