Principal’s Message:
Indigenous PD
Today, the staff at Panorama Hills School participated in Maatoomsii’Pookaiks (Children First) Indigenous Education Professional Learning Day, a system-wide learning opportunity for all CBE staff. This day was designed to deepen our understanding of Indigenous ways of being, belonging, doing, and knowing. Staff engaged in meaningful learning to build foundational knowledge that supports more inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive practices in our school.
The teachers were learning the Indigenous games that will be shared with students later in class.
Earth Day
In recognition of Earth Day, our Grade 5 students took meaningful action to care for our environment. They worked together to clean up the school field, demonstrating responsibility and pride in our shared spaces. In addition, they created a short movie to teach their peers and the school community how to properly recycle paper towels, helping to reduce waste and promote more sustainable habits across the school.
Movie Night
Our movie night featuring The Bad Guys 2 was a wonderful success last night, with many of our Division 2 students coming together to enjoy the evening, despite the weather and the strong wind. It was great to see students laughing and connecting outside of the classroom. A heartfelt thank you to our school council and society for organizing this event and making it such a fun and memorable experience for everyone!
Warm regards,
Ms. Manser, Acting Principal &
Mrs. Law, Assistant Principal
